To satisfy the demands of racers, these oil filters have many features over and above the requirements of most vehicles. These features include but are not limited to the use of thicker canister walls for extra strength and durability which reduces the risk of damage from loose rocks and debris, a drilled hole on the nut to provide for safety wire attachment and the use of a resin impregnated cellulose filter media which allows for higher flow rates while providing outstanding filtration.
